Under the Mevlana Agreement; two different research projects were accepted and supported: These are “Identification and Characterization of Bioactive Compounds in Some Landrace Wheat (Triticum spp.) Varieties” and “Performing Risk Assessment in Genetically Modified Food and Feed Products by Using Omic Technologies”.
As of March 2019, 3 students (2 Masters and 1 PhD students) from Hacettepe University-Food Engineering Deparment carried out their studies within the scope of these projects at Michigan State University for a period of 3 months.
